Fan Stat ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Fan Stat mobile application and website (fanstat.io). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo. You may sign in with Google or Apple, which provides basic profile information.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect your precise location to enable stadium check-ins and nearby bar discovery. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.

Health Data: With your explicit permission, we access heart rate data from Apple HealthKit to power the Stadium Pulse feature. Health data is stored in your personal profile and is never sold or shared with advertisers.

User Content: We collect content you create including check-ins, posts, photos, comments, and lineup selections.

Device Information: We collect device identifiers and push notification tokens to deliver notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Fan Stat service
• To personalize your experience (stats, badges, game history)
• To send push notifications about game activity, defining moments, and social interactions
• To display relevant advertisements to non-Pro users via Google AdMob
• To improve and optimize our app

3. Advertising

Fan Stat displays ads to non-Pro (free) users through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's privacy settings or by upgrading to Fan Stat Pro.

We use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and hosting services
• Google AdMob: Advertising services (non-Pro users only)
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Expo / EAS: Push notification delivery
• SportsDataIO: Game and player data (no user data is shared with them)

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Access and update your profile information within the app
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
• Revoke location and health data permissions in your device settings
• Opt out of personalized ads via device privacy settings

7. Children's Privacy

Fan Stat is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
